SN 96152 on wedge and 6152 on cylinder arbor. Probably used parts of Colt pocket. Fine Cylinder scene and engraved lines and signature on barrel. Excellent grip in original finish and written inside in ink: Gabriel 8 Mai 1869. Mahogany case with fine original accoutrements and spare parts with a spare-parts list written in French of the content on the back of a part of an invoice of Genez. On the lid engraved escutcheon in French: Auguste a son cher Gabriel (to my love Gabriel) New York 8 Mai 1869. Comes with a picture of the Gun shop in New york.
